About Our School

At  Vrindavan  School Of Music we teach Piano(Western Classical Music),Keyboard (Western and Indian Classical Music),Theory of Western Classical Music and Carnatic Vocal Music.

WESTERN CLASSICAL MUSIC;

The students are trained for the various Grade examinations of Trinity College Of Music,London.
The training includes:
1.Reading and identification of notes (Staff Notation)
2.Understanding and clapping of the Rhythm
3.Playing the notes on the Piano/Keyboard
4.Writing Music on the Stave

The main aim is to impart knowledge while the students also enjoy the music lessons too!

We ensure that every single student is made capable of being independent...they are able to learn songs by themselves.

Training is also given in the Theory of Music and the students are also made to write the Theory Grade Exams too.

CARNATIC CLASSICAL MUSIC;

We also train in Carnatic Music on Keyboard,where the students are started on the basic lessons which help them musically and technically (imparting lessons for speed playing).
On completion of the basics they are very gradually introduced to more challenging repertoire.

The training in Vocal Music is mainly focused on training of the voice to 'open' and yield to the demands of range,clarity,loudness and smoothness.

Here too the training very gradually takes the students to more challenging repertoire.
